Q2 2025 Events Resourcing Proposal

Overview

This proposal requests funds for events in Q2 2025, per the Akash Events 2025 discussion on GitHub. The Q2 requirement is $108,500 and includes a Tier-2 event and six individual events that are outside of the larger event schedule. In addition, this proposal includes $12,500 in overage spend for Q1 individual events and a Q1 budget shortfall of $204,277.37. The total amount requested is $325,277.37 at current prices of $1.38. The outline of each item is listed below.

Tier 2 Event Outline

Total budget per Tier-2 event: $96,308.82 estimated (only requesting $50,000)

This is the smaller event tiers for Akash, and will include the following:

• Attendance for up to 5 core team and community members.
• Budget for main conference sponsorship and speaking opportunities.
• An Akash-hosted side event to accommodate up to 150 people.

Individual Event Outline

Total requested: $58,500

The overage funds requested will be used for the following:

• In-person hackathons
• University conferences
• AI/ML summits
• Tech Start-Up events

Q1 Individual Event Overage

Total requested: $12,500

These funds were spent during Q1 on a Y Combinator Demo event and AITX AI Community Hackathon

Q1 Shortfall (due to market volatility)

Total requested: $204,277.37
